Melanin Inhibitor

In vivo study shows that the tripeptide significantly reduced melanin production (Figure 1). This leads to brighter complexion and toning down of acne scars and melasma or dark spots.

Melanocytes, located at the bottom layer of the skin’s epidermis, is the pigment-producing cell in the skin that determines its colour. The pigment that melanocytes make is called melanin. The major determinant of colour is not the number but rather the activity of the melanocytes. Melanin production takes place in unique organelles in the cell known as melanosomes. Darkly pigmented skin have melanosomes that contain more melanin.

Free radical scavenger

The tripeptide provides a protective mechanism against oxidative stress caused by free radical damage (Figure 2). With damage to cells contained, the skin texture and radiance improves and an anti-aging and anti-wrinkle effects can be seen. It also enhances wound healing.

Detoxification

MF Plus VP TSRRP VP 6 neutralises and excretes toxins from the body. It binds with the unwanted compounds, both xenobiotic (synthetic) and endogenous, to be removed together in the urine.
